"The Window” (1970) Vladimir Vladimirovich Zhivotkov 1940-2005


Vladimir Vladimirovich Zhivotkov was a Russian artist born in Moscow in 1940. He was primarily known for his work as a painter, and his style was characterized by a fusion of traditional and modern techniques.

Zhivotkov studied at the Moscow Art Institute and began exhibiting his work in the 1960s. He was a member of the Moscow Union of Artists and participated in numerous exhibitions throughout his career. His paintings often featured bold colors, geometric shapes, and abstract forms.

In addition to his work as a painter, Zhivotkov also worked as a book illustrator and graphic designer. He passed away in 2005, but his legacy as an important figure in the Russian art world lives on.
